Picture
Claudette Collier has nearly a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As a woman in today’s world, she believes that she is successful because of her perseverance, love of what she does, and ability to ensure that her passion and commitment transfers to the leadership and others in the company.

Ms. Collier comes from a family with a medical profession background and learned the power of research from them. Her greatest strength as an executive is managing a team of young professionals and being able to transfer her vision to them. She feels that one of the most gratifying aspects of her career is impacting others. She has been blessed with a number of great mentors, and advises the younger generation to remain confident and believe in themselves. Given the valuable information that her mentors offered her, she urges the youth to ask for help, learn from their mistakes and view their experiences as opportunities.

Ms. Collier chose to enter the pharmaceutical industry because of the great opportunities that it has to offer, in addition to the expansion that it provides professionals. To prepare for her career, she received an Organizational Knowledge certificate from the Association for Talent Development, and certification as a project management professional from the Project Management Institute. In recognition of her accomplishments, she earned a Customer Service Award from Hewitt, and awards in technology and innovation, and strategy and planning from Abbott. In order to remain abreast of changes in her field, she participates with ATD, PMI and the E-Learning Guild.

Reflecting upon the industry, Ms. Collier would like to make things work faster so that pharmaceutical professionals could help people more quickly. Looking ahead, she intends to continue her efforts and complete her work. She would then like to move into a role that enables her to make things happen at different levels. Ms. Collier wants to be remembered for doing the right thing and making possibilities real. Passionate about helping others, she also supports the ASPCA, Ocean Conservancy and the Humane Society of the United States. In her spare time, Ms. Collier enjoys traveling to see her children and grandchildren, as well as taking care of her mother and siblings. Her children are named Jennifer, Erick and Elizabeth.
